Alexandra “Alex” Morlock Andres, beloved surgery scheduler at Western New York Ear, Nose, and Throat, passed away recently, leaving behind cherished memories for family, friends, and all who knew her.
Alex was a lifelong resident of Amherst, New York, and lived in Williamsville, where she was known for her warmth, kindness, and infectious spirit. A proud graduate of Amherst Central High School, Alex was remembered by classmates and neighbors for her bright personality and caring nature.
From childhood through her teenage years, she shared countless memories with friends, growing up just two houses away from lifelong companions and sharing a bond that spanned decades.
One friend fondly recalls, “Alex was my first ‘Winnie Cooper.’ We didn’t stay close as adults, but she had a way of lighting up a room, and her kindness never wavered whenever our paths crossed.”
Professionally, Alex dedicated her time to helping patients navigate their medical journeys as a surgery scheduler, where her attention to detail and compassionate approach made a lasting impact on colleagues and patients alike.
Outside of work, Alex treasured her relationships and was in a loving partnership with Mark SZ. Her family, friends, and community remember her as someone who could make ordinary days brighter and who left a positive mark on everyone she met.
Alex is survived by her loved ones, including her partner, family, and countless friends who were fortunate to share in her life. She will be remembered for her kindness, her playful spirit, and her ability to bring light to every room she entered.
The community mourns her passing and celebrates a life well-lived, though far too short. Rest in peace, Alexandra, and may your memory continue to inspire those who knew and loved you.
