The Arizona Department of Public Safety has issued a Turquoise Alert for Yuma County, urging residents and travelers to be vigilant. Acedo is described as an Indigenous female, approximately 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighing 256 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.
At the time she went missing, she was last seen wearing a black sweater, white pajama pants, and carrying a black backpack. Authorities emphasize that anyone who may have seen her or has any information about her movements should come forward immediately.
Investigators have suggested that Acedo may be traveling outside Arizona, with possible sightings or leads indicating she could be in Los Angeles, California, New York, or Texas. Detective Burruel of the Yuma Police Department is leading the search efforts and coordinating with law enforcement across multiple states to locate her as quickly as possible.
